Thinking of You Card



Hi, and welcome to my Stampin' Up! blog.

This was a fun card to put together. I used the Wetlands clear mount (126697) stamp set.
Embossed the goose, grass & "thinking of you" colored a few lines
of the grass with a marker & used a blender pen.

Used Very Vanilla & Basic Black cardstock, the Soho Subway designer series paper 
(love this dsp). Topped it off with 1/8 mini brads, arrow from hung up cute clips, 
linen thread &  3/4" cotton ribbon ( which is retired). 

Did a little inking with sponge on edges & used the stampin' distress tool. Oh and some staples.

Hello! Today it's Vellum!    I made this card for the Around the World Stampin Challenge It's fun to push yourself out of the box and try something unusual.  Vellum is a little tricky to use because you need to hide your adhesive. Glue dots work great! I die cut the feathers with a new set in the  Holiday Catalog called Feathers Framelits dies. It has stamps to match called Four Feathers but I just used embossing folders and the Bigshot to add texture  I used the Hearts Border Punch, Handheld Stapler with Mini Staples. The twine is Calypso Coral, which isn't a perfect match but close enough.  Colors are Basic Gray and Melon Mambo with Vellum Thanks for Stopping by! Have a great day! Watercolor with Aqua Painter! It's easy! Anyone can feel like a painter!! Here's a card I made using uh-oh! Moon Lake which is retired now!  It's fairly easy! I embossed the canoe and tree stamp with Versamark and Black Embossing Powder onto Watercolor Paper. Then watercolored the sky and water with inks smooshed onto cover of ink pad and an Aqua Painter.  Popped up the panel with Dimensionals and embossed greeting onto watercolor paper and snipped apart     Hope you like it and sorry about the retired stuff!  I'll make a new fresh one in a couple days for another idea! Rose Wonder & Wink of Stella I just HAD to try some new stuff right when my box came in! This one came together fairly quickly! I had the pretty sunsets we've been witnessing lately on my mind. 2  Butterflies Embossed in Gold Embossing Powder and punched out with Bitty Butterfly Punch. The brush strokes under the butterflies are from the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  Wink of Stella Glitter Brush in Gold at the bottom.  A strip of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate and Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim.  I used the Wink of Stella Brush on the Very Vanilla edge too but it looked funny so I applied VersaMark right from the pad and embossed it with the Gold Embossing powder. Congratulations! Baby Card AW26 Product Made a card for the  Around the World Stampin' Up Challenges     Here's my card  I used Watercolor Paper, Lost Lagoon Ink pad smooshed onto the cover, and a paintbrush.  I still don't have an Aqua Painter which may be easier. I sprayed the Watercolor paper first with water in a Stampin' Spritzer then inked up my paintbrush and swiped it across the paper. Put more ink where you want it darker.  I fussy cut the elephant & giraffe and popped them up with Dimensionals  Banner Punch, Banner Blast Stamps which is from Sale-a-bration,  The grass stamp is from the Hostess set Nuts About You and the leaves are from Kinda Eclectic  I notched the end of the banner with the Banner Punch Thanks for stopping by!
